Vacuum Solenoids

Just wondering about the vacuum solenoids (the solenoid rack, orange grey blue green and yellow) whether or not the are all identical. Reason is i was looking at my workshop manual the other day and realized that the plugs that go in to the back of them were all wrong. See i don't have stickers on solenoids any more , so does it matter what solenoid i use, as long as the plugs and vacuum lines are in the right place. One of the vacuum lines didn't even have a solenoid on it and wasn't even blocked off.

pls help if you know anything about them.

Cheers

Looks like 3 of them are the same and 1 is different (for an S4 turbo). I'm basing this on the part numbers in this diagram.

They are all the same item, just that they are CONFIGURED differently. You CONFIGURE them by moving the small air filter from one plastic nipple to another. You make them look JUST like they are shown in the FSM (fuel and emissions section).
