What is that black circle thing in this picture? I think that actually went to the nipple in the first picture if i am not mistaken.


Also what are you guys using to plug these nipples? I am thinking of just using bolts and rtv. any other ideas?

This sounded funny for some reason, than I looked at the pic, and yes, there is a towel there.

You could have a look at the vacuum diagram in the FSM in the "fuel and emissions" section. Courtesy of SureShot.

You could also have a look at the archive section where there is a thread about removing emissions by Dale (dcfc3s).

or you could take slightly better pictures.

what do you guys use to cap that kind of nipples off anyways? should I just stick to the bolt idea? or are there any other better ways to do this.

Your local parts store has small packages of nipple caps.
They should be near the vac hose & Tee's.
