Another injector question.... (searched)
Another injector question.... (searched)
Ok guys, I searched a lot in the past posts, but I couldn't find any answers, so... here I go...
I got a couple of blue injectors, I know they are low imp as the connector is square with the center notch.
The code on them is 195500-0610 and according to the shop they flow like 760ish.
Now, my car (87) runs low imp, but I have the resistor pack jumped as I have 4 high 550 inj. My question is, can I take of the jump only from the secondary injectors and ran only the primary ones jumped?
I live in Dominican Republic, and finding low 550 ain't exactly easy...
Any ideas? Imputs?
Thx for your time.
Best regards

As long as when you unjumper them you reconnect them to solenoid resistor pack.
Take the resistor pack apart. Inside you will see TWO seperate resistors of 2 x 6 ohms (that's written on the side of each of the white resistors). Each of the seperate resistors is for two injectors. So have the two low impedence injector wires going to one of those white resistors. You'll need to have the power wire going to it also. Split off from the others. The above makes sense to me.....maybe not others. I'd jpg a picture but it's toooooo frustrating. Pain in the ****.

Thx man!
Once more your replies help me a lot!
I took a look at my resistor pack and what I see is that the previous owner (who had the FC for like 9 yrs) actually jumped everything in the connector, after the resistor pack; he put some small wires in there, is that bad?...
Usually, how is the jumped done? Inside the resistor pack running an extra wires around the resistors?
You say I should also have the power wire goint to the resistor pack, but shouldn't it be aoutside? Just like in the pic?
Thx again for all your help!
Best regards
BTW: I got my pilot license at Meacham Int Airport! Ah I miss it sooooo much.... <sigh>

Here is a jpg http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/showth...threadid=31110 of one resistor pack not fiddled with and the other is what is left of one that I am using in my car right now with high impedence injectors.
I just cut the harness b/t the plug and the resistors......crimped the five wires on the plug side together....and just reinstalled the plug. The resistors went on the shelf in the garage.
Did the guy cut your wires? Before or after the whole pack shown in the jpg above ....or did he cut the harness on the car.
Is the harness plug still intact??? Or cut off?
On the harness side the wires are colored.
The Lg or light green wire is to the front primary.
The LgW or light green/white is for the front secondary
The LgB or light green /black is for the rear primary
The LgR or light green/red is for the rear secondary.

Just in case......I took the aluminium cover off the resistor pack just to show what is inside. The one on the left is just like the one on the right in the jpg...just no cover.
The single wire that runs to the other end all by itself is the power wire.
