vacume leak need help

Exclamation vacume leak need help

have already pulled the uim off and found that a vacume line that is right between two oil injectors was not connected to any thingwas wondering if anyone knows where it needs to be connected or blocked off? its an 88 tII with rat nest removed along with all other emission stuff

It's not actually a vacuum line, but a fresh air line that goes to a nipple before the throttle body. As such, I believe it connedcts to the lowest nipple on the back of the throttle body.

On an S4 I think it's the top nipple on the UIM facing the firewall.

The only reason I say this is because there's a check valve on the bottom nipple, and then that goes to the double throttle.

the middle goes to the oil injectors on the block. have you gotten rid of the vacuum spider in all your emissions removal? the middle one has a bigger nipple than the rest on the UIM.

the top goes to that open nipple between the fresh air supply for the primary fuel injectors if i'm not mistaken.

Im having a hard time remembering, but searching will help because it helped me
