vaccum leak?

How do you know for sure if your vaccum is leaking, also how easy is it to fix and how much cost to fix? Thanks!

After you are done with the living room and there is more dust on the furniture than when you started.

I was gunna say it, lol. Well to check to see if "your vacuum is leaking," you can start the car and spray some starter fluid around and see if the RPMs jump up. Now make sure you do this on your car, and not you vacuum cleaner
