Vac spider removal question

For those of you that are running without, after you removed the metal rack how did you reroute your fuel lines? If you ran them straight over the block did you wrap them in foil tape or some other kind of heat shield? If you dont go right over the block where else would you run it?

Directly over the block. I just put on a wireloom shealth to protect against some sharp edges they could possible rub against.

I ran mine under the UIM. Therse about an inch and half of clearance for wires/lines. I ran them straight through without protection...

We think alike.
The wire sheath also insulates the hose.
The extra length of hose (vs metal pipe) also acts as a pulse damper (If you're thinking replacing the PD with a banjo.)

Yeah the only potential problem I could think of other than heat was the hose rubbing on the top of the block, when you say wireloom sheath you are talking about the black plastic stuff with the ridges in it?
