ok, i have two, questions, I installed my boost gauge and disabled the hose to the boost sensor. Is that all right? Also, my vac is only reading 9-10? is that normal? Or do I have a vac leak, My car has been ideling rough...im hoping its just a vac leak? what do yours run at???


second question, i heard that since i have a 89 TII, that I don't need to buy an expensive intake kit,I heard I could just buy the corresponding k&n cone filter that would hook right up with a clamp? Does anyone know what size to get for the end of the filter, 3"?? Also, does anyone know of a cheap place or anyplace to get the filters? My local auto stores do not have a lot of stuff.

Whats up.

You dont want to diconnect the boost sensor, that tells the ECU how much fuel to push out (along with the afm and tps, etc..)

Im not sure what its supposed to read at but my motors ran between 15-18 inches in mercury.
