Vac hoses for OMP?

Can I use some high pressure vac hoses for my omp lines?
They should be able to handle the pressure, but im worried about the temp... will rubber hose be okay?

1. I think it's been tried and didn't work.

2. Considering if they don't work out and pop off or something equally as crappy you'll be screwed along with your engine. I'd rather just play it safe with some SS lines.

"High pressure vac hose"? That's like military intelligence, or microsoft works, it's an oxymoron, lol...

Since the OEM lines tend to get brittle & crack, anything might be better than them (especially after you crack 'em taking them off the first time). Some guys on the forum have went with stainless lines, too, I think...

With the ss lines you can always just put them on the new car when you get it. Odds are it will have the same problem.

The stock hoses are only rubber and they easily last 10+ years.

If your talking about the vac line on top of the injectors......regular rubber will work just fine. If your talking about the line that feeds oil to the injector from the oil pump, NO. Rubber lines will swell up and rot in a hurry. IF you are talking about those oil lines, get some fuel line meant for lawnmowers and the like from the hardware store. I've used it with success for several years now. Full cost was about three bucks maximum.
