The V-Mount has begun!
How about coolant temps now? In CA we've had 110+ F days and just cruising at 70 on the highway I'm seeing 210F and at stoplights my black magic fan just keeps it from getting hotter..doesn't do much about the cooling :P Could be because of my 3" thick fmic..maybe I'll go v mount.
Amazing work and quality put into that, the results are nice!
Other than the IC's angle, to be honest, your configuration is very similar to the OEM setup on the FD. The ducting is by far superior and contributes a lot to cooling ability I'm sure.

Maybe the black magic isn't covering enough surface area on your radiator. How about one of those mighty Taurus fans?
SmogSUX: Black magic fan thermostat doesn't go low enough, maybe 200F. I noticed this when I was trying to set mine on my last '7. Otherwise it's nice. And don't forget the Mazda OEM thermostat (for coolant) if you don't have one. Makes a huge difference.
Btw- nice build yourself. What turbo are you using?
