MB V belts

Can someone give me a source for the complete set of v belts I need for the 88 vert I have? I tried my local Mazda dealer and some of them are no longer listed, he says. Some of my existing belts need replacing when I get the little car out next April.

Which ones aren't listed?

Without knowing what options your car has it's hard to say what belts are required.

But most auto parts stores can supply replacements. Get a high quality belt like Gates and you'll be happy.

Your dealer needs a kick in the face (o.k., maybe that's a bit much)...

Ask for someone who knows what they're doing...even pull the microfiches out if needed.

Being a convertible, you probably have A/C and P/S, right? Do you still have the Air Pump on? If so, you need the ALT, W/P, ESP belt, A/P, W/P, ESP belt, A/C, idler, ESP belt, and finally P/S, Idler, ESP belts. ESP= Eccentric shaft Pulley

See my sig. for FSM and Parts fiche links.

Thanks, Paulo, yes I have/ need all of the above, I wondered if one of the Mazda aftermarket companies had them as a kit?

Never seen them as a kit. Most people just replace one at a time as they break.
