IL Using a turbo middle plate in an NA engine...

So, I've got a very, very nice turbo intermediate plate I am going to use when I finally put my next engine together. I've known about the egr port on the bottom of the plate and how it won't math up with the NA intake.

The reason I'm using a turbo plate is obviously so I could port it a little bit more, but I decided not to. I ported her just as much as you would a NA plate. Why use the turbo, and why not just buy a NA plate you ask? Well this turbo plate has virtually NO stepwear. So, yeah I'm not gonna waste my time and money looking for an NA plate similar to this.

I know MANY people have used them before. I just would like to know what I should do about that EGR port.

And yes, of course I tried searching....

Thanks in advance

I thought of that, but shouldn't I need to seal it with something, or will the intake gasket be okay?
