using an s-afc to measure airflow?

has anyone tried this?

i figure since the s-afc will show how open the air flow meter is, can't we use it to compare intakes and see which flows the best?

just a thought...

I noticed alot of variance in the readings from the SAFC. I used 3 or 4 different MAF sensors and got a whole variety of readings. Someone might be able to come up with something though.

Sounds interesting. I would be most interested in whether it would show a difference between the stock setup and a cone setup.

changing the intakes probably wouldn't even change it... to small a diff. that's the total air going in and out of the engine. not just the intake. port your motor and it'll change.
