USA ecu/ecu pin vs JDM ??
i would like to know if any one hase ever comparied the ecu pins from a jdm ecu and a usa ecu, i have a mitchels ecu pin chart and what the rire dose plus voltage but its for a s5 usa model it dose not say usa but you get the point. any info would help thanks

They're basically the same. The J-spec ECU doesn't have some of the US-spec emission control outputs and it has a speed limiter input, but all the pins that perfrom the same functions are in the same place.

Killing the speed limiter has been done to death.
It's on the back of the speedometer on JDM speedos only. There's a pin in the back at 180kph that you just have to remove.

mmm, the a/c pins are different. Thats why they had to mod the power fc to get the a/c to work. Plus I had put a pettit ecu in my 94spec, it plug straight in but the a/c didn't work.
