URGENT...possible A/F Ratio problem...i think

Ok I'm going to try to explain as much of the problem that I know of.

Basic problem is my car starts but it takes like 15-20 tries. After I get it going it runs rough for about 7-10 min and then dies. Also when I drive it it runs like a grandpa. Its very hesitant and doesn't feel smooth at all.

About a month ago I went to dominos to get pizza when I turned off the car and got my pizza and when I came back out to start it it was not turning over. Nothing at all. I turn the key and click click click. Then smoke started coming up the drivers side engine bay and vents. Not alot tho it was very faint. Found later that my starter was toast and got a new one and figured the smoke was the solenoid.

Well now like I said earlier it takes like 15-20 tries to start the car. Sometimes it won't even start at all and I have to do alittle trick to get it to start. I have a fuel cut switch under my dash so my trick is:

1. Flip switch to cut fuel and try cranking the car.
2. Car cranks like 2 times and finally kicks over and revs to 2k RPMS and before it dies cause of no fuel flow I quickly flip switch on again.

Now I have engine running but really rough idle. The engine is all shaking in the engine bay. After 10 min it dies and basically my little trick won't work again and I have to leave car sitting for a day and then the trick will work again the next day.

I took it to mazda dealership and left it their for a week for them to call me today and tell me they have no idea what it could be.

Now I believe its an A/F Ratio problem but not sure. I have a 3" Apexi N1 style exhaust with only 1 3" Magnaflow High Flow Cat. It's 3" from the turbo all the way back. I installed a Racing Beat boost cut defender so that I dont get that rear rotor fuel cut off. I have replaced the spark plugs cause I had not changed mine since I bought the car a year ago. The spark plugs haven't made a difference.

I haven't done compression test yet but as soon as I get the car back I will do it. I already bought a tester from Autozone.

The only other possibilities I can think of besides an A/F Ratio problem is cracked apex seal or timing being off cause I've heard that the timing being off just alittle bit can make the car run really funky. Problem is I know nothing about timing.

Someone help me cause I'm a college student and I'm starting a new job on Friday and my school semester just started as well so I'm pretty F**ked right now.
