Urgent - How to remove passenger door ?
Hello,
had an accident with my FC (not my fault) here are the details with pics:
https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-non-technical-pictures-198/suv-bumps-into-my-clean-fc-side-damage-963959/
Already got a new/used door and I was about to remove the old one.
Got it open without problem playing with the rods inside.
Biggest problem: how do I remove the entire door ? FSM only covers interior panel removal etc ...
Looking at it I guess the fender has to come off, but I have no clue.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

remove the inner door panel and remove all the wires and plugs and pull that out from the door.
then the door comes off with 4 bolts. 4 of which are on the hinges that bolt directly to the frame. open the door, and you will see them.
PS, its a pain in the dick to put it back on, and have it line up. ps, use a jack stand and some wood to help. you will see what i mean.
keep the door handle from this car as it has the lock in it and everything.

Many thanks,
Did it exactly this way.
Although I think it would have been better to remove fender and remove the hinges mounted to the body.
Upper hinge was bent so I needed to replace it.
Really a pita to align that stuff, actually it does not close as properly but I need to lower it 1 mm and it will close like a champ.
For the door handle, I left the old one in. Door will be opened or closed from the inside.
Need to cut up the old door first to remove everything.
