Urgent help needed! Tranny broke, but will a 12a tranny be strong enough for 2nd gen?

My tranny finally gave out a few hours ago in 1st gear. Sounded and felt pretty nasty!! Tried to move and it was obviously real "clacky" and if I tried to move forward or backwards, it would "catch and try and go in the opposite direction. My guess is that a few teeth sheared off.
Anyway.
I've got a 12A tranny in my garage as well as a 2nd gen NA tranny that was originally in my brother's 350rwhp 1st gen and from what I remember, it started sounding a little noisy before the car was put away. So, I'm a bit weary of that one. The 12A tranny feels more solid, but my question is this: will the 12A tranny hold up to my app. 200rwhp 2nd gen, or will I be replacing it in short order? I honestly don't know how much stronger the internals are in the s4 and s5 trannies as compared to the 12a trannies. I'm dropping the tranny tomorrow morning, so I figured I'd post this up in the meantime while I search around on here. If I don't get any responses, I'll probably go ahead and just put the 12a tranny in. It also looks like I have to swap the tail section as well because of the trans mount casting.
Thanks.

well sounds like you need Turbo tranny, and swapping between trannys is not easy, when going from non turbo to turbo you need a custom driver shaft, i have a turbo tranny if you can wait for it to get shipped to you 150 shipped if u want it.
