Upraded Alternators?

My alternator died this weekend and I need to replace. Are there any options for alternators with higher output?

FD alternator, you have to do a little bit of rewiring I think though. I was looking into this as well. Let see what people have to say.

Thanks,

I went ahead and installed a stock reman. one.

I may try this upgrade at some point, but I would reccomend on the 100 amp install to upgrade the wire to the + batt to larger guage. To get the full benefit of the increased amps you probably need a 10 or even 8 guage wire to the batt, the stock wire probably can't pass that much current. I bet if you checked the wire on a 93+ it's larger than the previous years.
