Why is my upper rad hose getting so tight almost starting to buldge, overheating a bit to????

 

Let the system cool down. Then check for bubbles in the system. You do know how to bleed the system, correct?

 

I think so i used the bleeder plug, but not to sure if thats all there is to it.

 

Or, there is the chance that the hose is starting to rot internally. And that is why it is bulging. How old is the hose?

Im not sure how old it is it was getting alot of pressure before but now it seems to be ok but it is still overheating but only when the car is ideling when you drive it on the highway its ok, when you drive it threw the city it runs hot but dosent go right to the 'H', It has a new OEM TS new water pump and its a pretty new rebuild about 2500 kms.

 

Make certain fan clutch working properly, and lower hose isn't collapsing. Check radiator cap for proper relief pressure. If hoses are old, replace them.

 

How do you check the fan clutch??
