Upgrading Injectors

Hey,

I had a question about upgrading my fuel injectors on my S5 TII. Rotary Ressurection says the S5 13BT uses High Impedence injectors.

Im having a very hard time finding high impedence injectors past 550cc from any company.

Kevin says that:

" ***IF using LI injectors on a HI harness, you must splice into the harness, at each injector lead (for a total of 4) 10 ohm/10watt resistors available at radio shack for a couple of bucks. Doesn't matter which wire of the 2 per injector you splice to, polarity isn't an issue here. This bumps the LI resistance up to acceptable load for the ECU to see. "
Does everyone who upgrades injectors on S5 TII's have to do this? Or am I just totally missing something and not looking in the right places for injectors?

Thanks.

P.S.: Im looking at buying 4x 720cc Injectors

That's because they are very rare.

Pretty much, yep. This applies to all post-87.5 FC's. The resistors are cheap and easy to install.

S4s had low impedance up to 87.5, then they transitioned to high impedance.

I have RC Engineering 750cc secondaries on mine, and I have no complaints.
About $98 bucks a pop IIRC.

You should easily find the which resistor you need by searching...I looked into this a while back.
