Forget about this thread. Just hope everyone leaned something by it.
This looks like one of those stand-alone EMS brand wars!
You've got some pretty fiesty backers, but they play dirty...

I guess they get their rocks off trying to insult my ride, when there was never really nothing between us in the first place...go figure.

Hey, I don't profess to be the end-all authority on everything.&nbsp I give my personal experience on what I went through, and I don't care how you take it or leave it.

Maybe I've been reading too much Turbonetics literature.&nbsp We used to move a lot of inventory with a turbo shop up in Cameron in NorCal.&nbsp They use a pretty sophisticated dynamic balanced that used compressed air to spin the turbo rotating assemblys.&nbsp Oddly enough, they didn't find the need to spin it way high (close to 100kRPM) as other shops claim - they only spin them to 10kRPM or so on their air machine.&nbsp Talking with them, it was ingrained into my head that a properly balance turbo RA would be the best for rebuilding.&nbsp A lot of shops just static balance the RA's.&nbsp I assumed this was what you only did - I was WRONG about that.&nbsp Is that was the peanut gallery is looking for - to see if I would state I was WRONG?&nbsp Welp, I just did it.

It seems to me that Bryan does quality work, if there is anything POSITIVE that has come out from this bitchfest.&nbsp I still don't have any direct experience with BNR, but I've got nothing against them at this point (I never had one in the beginning?).

On the bad side, it's evident who doesn't like me anymore...&nbsp If you don't know me by now, this is the bad side of me...&nbsp I don't make any excuses - I know I'm not perfect...

RETed, with slow car.

Yes, plainly speaking it will amount to you having 10k in mods on your car and running only a 13.4 @ slow MPH. The MPH of the 1/4 had almost nothing to do with driving skill, and only on the cars power. How come my stock motored car runs 111 mph when yours only ran 105?? My car is lowered too and is also cambered totally wrong yet I hit 1.8 60's on 225's. why don't you air your tires down to 17 psi and do a MEAN powerbraking burnout. You will lower your 60' time substantially I guarantee it. But since I am stupid and don't know anything about harmonic balancing, even though I agreed thats the best way (cause thats in ch 12 haven't finished the class yet).
Bryan, why don't you tell him that you actually do some harmonic balancing to remove vibrations so he will shut up already?

Also, You need to take that chip off your shoulder about Bryan's work. VSR balanced or not, his 16g rebuild (those spin at OUTRAGEOUS rpms) hasn't once flickered or spat a speck of oil at 22 psi. And that is what this thread is about isn't it?

And I didn't think you would see that Bryan was reading your statement about the T5/6 and S trim as being the SAME turbo. Why don't you look where he wrote it.

Here's the attack:
I guess If I didn't have a job for a FREAKING YEAR and had time to sit at home all damn day I would be a *little* more knowledgable about turbos. I got a TS04 and a 60-1 sitting right here next to my Greddy manifold and intercooler and I bet a beat you to getting one of them on my car and I'm in school full time mechanical engineering, and work as an intern for an oil company on top of that. But oh wait, is this resume bragging?? I hope you enjoy your myopic mind and only let in what you need to on this forum. If you are always freaking right about this stuff, then why aren't you running as fast as me? Why don't you GO WASH YOUR CAR!

My car looks like crap too, but its only got 927.00 in it to date and that includes the car. (not including the mods in my kitchen). Sounds like we were all in "the mood" tonight.

That's right...&nbsp Over $5,000 worth in tools and tooling just to work on the car.

The MPH of the 1/4 had almost nothing to do with driving skill, and only on the cars power. How come my stock motored car runs 111 mph when yours only ran 105?? See, that's the problem.&nbsp I didn't build my car to rule the drag strip, hence, my drag racing ability is not the best.&nbsp You obviously can drag better than I can - is that what you wanted to hear?&nbsp I DON'T brake-stand my car; I like to keep my brakes functioning.&nbsp I DON'T care if I can run any faster; I build it to rule in a top-end highway race.&nbsp The run was made on the Nitto NT-555R's at 20psi; it's not as "soft" as your 17psi, as I had to drive 20 miles back home to fill up the tires.&nbsp I DON'T abuse the crap out of my car just to say I ran a fast time.&nbsp Hell, why don't we put away the trash talking and go race down at the drag strip already?&nbsp If you're truly faster than I am, then you should be able to hand my *** on a silver platter pretty easily...

Also, You need to take that chip off your shoulder about Bryan's work. VSR balanced or not, his 16g rebuild (those spin at OUTRAGEOUS rpms) hasn't once flickered or spat a speck of oil at 22 psi. And that is what this thread is about isn't it?
I have no direct experience with his rebuild 16G's.&nbsp Why would I be able to qualify a comment?

And I didn't think you would see that Bryan was reading your statement about the T5/6 and S trim as being the SAME turbo. Why don't you look where he wrote it.
Then why you do think there was a miscommunication?&nbsp I think it's safe to say you have no idea what the difference between a T5/T6 wheel trim and an S-trim?

I guess If I didn't have a job for a FREAKING YEAR and had time to sit at home all damn day I would be a *little* more knowledgable about turbos.
Sure, I guess you wouldn't believe me that I've been also searching for a job and have gone through at least 20+ interviews by now and have made countless phone calls.&nbsp You think I dedicate the majority of my waking hours reading all this ****?&nbsp Boy, you've got a twisted view of reality here...

I got a TS04 and a 60-1 sitting right here next to my Greddy manifold and intercooler and I bet a beat you to getting one of them on my car and I'm in school full time mechanical engineering, and work as an intern for an oil company on top of that.
Okay, sure.&nbsp How about you name the time and a place, and we'll see who is "faster"?&nbsp How about that for being fair?&nbsp Since you know how to trash talk like you know what you know what you're talking about.&nbsp How about a run at OLOA or OTC sometime next year?&nbsp Winner gets the losers car?&nbsp That's the CHALLENGE...&nbsp You game?

But oh wait, is this resume bragging?? I hope you enjoy your myopic mind and only let in what you need to on this forum. If you are always freaking right about this stuff, then why aren't you running as fast as me? Why don't you GO WASH YOUR CAR!
Man, at least I read the rest of the thread before I go mouthing off and looking stupid...&nbsp Come on bitch, TALK IS CHEAP - PUT UP OR SHUT UP.&nbsp We do the OLOA or OTC in 2003?&nbsp Winner gets losers car?&nbsp I guess all the stuff I've been posting hasn't been getting through your thick head, huh.&nbsp Yeah, so you've run faster than I have - you need a trophy for that or something?&nbsp Wash my car?&nbsp You still haven't told me what that does for speed or performance...

Thumbs up HAHA Beat me in a race?? but sooner than 2003!

Hell yeah I'm game, but lets do it NEXT MONTH. Why give these poeple a year to wait? How about you come down to Baton Rouge, La. for the Import Face off 2002 on May 26. I'll be there in the red TII. You can even stay at my house! You wanna put some laps on the 1.8 mile road course while we're are it too?! I Bet I put you in place there too. I am an established road racer through the SCCA and place very high in every event. You'd better sure hope you can afford a plane ticket back you idiot. And if it comes down to it I'll pull the LT1 powered 3rd gen with the 200 shot out and REALLY show you a fast car! No thanks B I don't need that much to beat this guy. So I guess you were planning on finishing your project by 2003. Shucks! don't think you are gonna make the deadline. Good luck with the BB turbo I am gonna be running the 60-1 and its only in a HIFI with P trim and .96 on the Greddy manifold So if you get your BB in I guess I am toast, but oh wait we have to take in account that you can't drive and that my car is a "RINGER" so I guess I will still win. And if you wanna get technical about the car wash, why don't you aks Nascar racers why they wax the cars before the races? But oh master RET(ard)ed you knew that already!

Pshhh...T5/6 that's too small for me.

You are a complete idiot. What do you think it takes to read that little chart on turbocharged.com? I have that thing practically memorized. Did you read the post about the V trim? I also had an H3 wheel. Also machined a .63 garret exhaust housing to fit the stock rx-7 turbo with a V trim compressor and t3 heat sheild to fit on it. This is what I run on my AWD eclipse, you wanna lose to that car too? HAHA

Bryan? from the old turbo specialties? this is Christian.....you built a couple of seq for the third gen and upgraded my t2 to a t3/t04b, how have you been? please do not try and dispute bryan's work, all the turbos that he has done for me, mine included were not wrongly represented or not what they were supposed to be....and by the way, how is 332 at 14psi all you doubters?

Angry Ok everyone just back the hell up!

Thats right, just back the hell up! I'm a newbie in this forum. Check my sig I don't even have a 7 yet! (Still workin on it) But I do know this much. We're all on the same ******* team. (sorry moderator, can I say that? This just really has me pissed) I cannot believe the absolute childishness of some of the people on the forum. I have been know to blow up on people for things but with this all hell broke loose. I mean, LOOK AT THE GODDAMNED THREAD TITLE! It doesn't say "Ted vs. Bryan (and his minions): Ultimate Fighting Championship. I checked out this thread because I DONT know enough about turbos. I CAME HERE TO FIND OUT. What happened next? Well lets see. Someone recommended BNR. Ted recommended Turbonetics. Heres where things go bad. Someone said "Hey, what do you have against bryan?" Well shoot I dont have anything against Bryan, I dont even know the guy. NOR do I have anything against Ted, I don't know him either. So looking from a completely neutral standpoint I see the whole fight unraveling. Ted defends his viewpoint that he doesn't know Bryan and he's just recommending what he knows. People start criticizing him for that. Ted goes on the defensive and then BAM the artillary hits and the whole damned post turns into "TED YOUR CAR IS UGLY AND SLOW" and "YOU CANT BALANCE TURBO'S RIGHT!" Nobody was in the right here. Everyone played a small part. Bryan didn't openly attack but he could have diffused the situation a little earlier on. I'm not going to pick sides but one thing I want to say is "Where the hell are all of Ted's friends?" I mean what, all you guys that claim Ted is your buddy just backed off or something? Ted had several series of 3 or more posts where he was just trying to redeem himself from 3 or 4 attackers! WHAT IS THIS!?! In the end all I came out of this with is a teeny tiny bit more turbo knowledge and the realization that this forum has a serious problem with people getting along. Why the hell can't two people have different opinions on lets say for example static and dynamic balancing without people bringing up who's car is faster, who's washed theirs most recently, and hell while we're at it lets brag about who is more of a man than the other! Its not that hard to have a heated debate with NO PERSONAL INSULTS. Casual statement of facts, opinions, and personal experiences is enough without having to resort to petty name calling. Now, you want to know the saddest part of this whole thing? The saddest part is that you've got an 18 year old "kid" calling you on your childish behavior (that would be me). Several of you are a great deal older than me, yet you let this go on without trying to calm things down. I have no problems with anyone on this forum at this point AT ALL. WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. Now, if I have a problem with you as a person, it won't be because you feel that GReddy makes a better exhaust than Apex'i. It will be because there is something in your attitude that causes a conflict. I'm probably committing "Forum Suicide" in this too but I don't care. The people who will nod at this and say "yeah it got out of hand" are the people I'm trying to reach. Not the people who are going to yell at me because of this and that and the other thing too. I'm glad that atleast things are looking up and hey, while we're on the topic it was good that Bryan mentioned some of his technical credentials and people backed him up on that. When I get my 7 and finally reach the stage where a turbo upgrade is the thing to do, I'll definitely give you a lookup Bryan. Sounds like you do some quality work. However, maybe what he builds just isn't my taste. If thats the case it doesn't mean I have to go rag on him for a poor job. Just means I might differ in opinion. Now, I don't know if anyone is even going to care that I posted this but I couldn't log off withouth atleast putting in my two cents on the issue of forum attacks. Poweraxle said it and I agree. IT NEEDS TO STOP. WE ALL LOVE THE SAME CAR! So before anyone EVER flames again, take a damn step back and say to yourself "Do I really hate him? Or do I just disagree."

P.S. Sorry if that was REALLY redundant, I just had to release some frustration.
