Update on the TII s5 project
I just wanted to keep everyone up to date on the happenings of the 89 TII that I'm rebuilding. I took nine pics, but only two turned out, then the quality sucks on them too, so I have to take more tomorrow.
This is one of the subframe and the underside of the drivers side suspension.

Thanks. I've given a ton of time and effort in the last few months to get this the way that I want it.

Very nice! One thing about the epoxy coating though: water tends to get underneath the epoxy and stay there, rusting the metal underneath. The result is an area that is only held together by the epoxy itself. It's probably a good idea to check the epoxy every week or so for signs of cracking, and replace any damaged areas immediately. It may not start for a few years, but sooner or later it will happen. FWIW, this is a major problem on DeLoreans sine they have a very thin steel frame, coated with epoxy.
