update on engine bogging problem
on my fc, I had a problem with the engine loosing fuel pressure on sharp left hand corners https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=289298 and it would cause some rather scary moments. I have since found the culprate, the wonderful fuel pump strainer. The peice, I assume, is the factory peice. It was just as tall as it was wide, with a plastic frame holding this box up, and the intake at the bottom of the box. I replaced it with a new fuel strainer, but this one looked nothing like mine. it was just a simple flat square sock. The problem is now fixed, but I am wondering if mazda had a recall or something on this?

My car has the same problem. I'm always thinking twice before I make a left turn in front of oncoming traffic.
I thought the problem was a loose ground or something like that. Well now I have something else to try. You wouldn't happen to have the part number of the fuel pump strainer? That way I can tell the parts people exactly what I need.
I did some research into recalls and technical service bulletins, but haven't found anything.

I don't have the p/n, just a genaric from autozone. I know exactly what your talking about though with the hesitating to turn left, but this fixed the problem very effectively, and cheaply (only $13)
