RB engine brace ...help please

Last weekend i was trying to put in the RB engine brace in. the directions were confusing but i finally figured out where to put the brace. the problem is that i cant get the bolt (the one closer to the passenger) side to come off to attach the brace. so i read the archive threads about the engine brace but they were no help. my dad suggested that we remove the hood which would make it easier but i dont think its neccesary. so the bolt is kinda getting stripped now.. i just need to know what tools i should use and whats the best way to get it off. the bolt that holds the engine brace on looks like it holds the tranny to the engine. i dont know how much its torqued down but its it must be torqued pretty tight. without the hood removed i cant fit a breaker bar back there. help me please!

14mm combination wrench.

I also hooked up a 19mm comb. wrench to the top (any large size will do). Pushed with the left hand, directly on the 14mm, and pulled with the 19mm attached.

Managed to get it to crack fairly easily, after that, the "assisting" wrench was no longer needed.
