Unusual GVR weight numbers...

I always thought FC's weighed around 27-2800 lbs. Well, I looked in the doorjam of my TII, and it said 3310 lbs. What the hell is up? I saw another one that said 3400ish lbs. Im really confused now.

Well for the 89 T2 it says 2,850lbs, if you want to check other models, go to autotrader, used car research then to vehicle specs.

that's GROSS vehicle weight, which really sounds misleading
thats the MOST that the car can weigh, according to the manufacturer, with a full load of cargo/people inside. Knock 5-600lb off that usually to figure out the weight of the car.

Yep Terrh is right... subtract 400 for people and 250lbs for cargo and your number should be right on.
