Unsure of what is going on?

Just an FC convertible. When i bought the car from the guy he told me the car was acting like it had lost compression. After that i went to his mechanic and he said he could get the car cranked but as soon as he got it cranked he had to pinch the fuel line off to keep it running and it had no compression. Some help guys?

pinch the fuel line to keep it running? uberleaky injectors? btw as a general rule mechanics, if they aren't already, turn into giant retards whenever they're touching a rotary. you should do a compression check yourself (search, it's easy) and try to figure out if it's flooding...

checked the compression and rotor 1 and the compression was only ran up to about 45lbs and rotor 2 just went crazy on me. needle just kept going in circles. the car would never run less than 2k rpms and it smoked like it was gettin ready to blow it self and me everywhere.
