Here are a couple things to check:

- Wheels Balanced?
- Wheels Bent?
- Engine Mounts good? Though I would think it would shake at idle too.
- Wheel Alignment?
- Tires have a flat spot from skidding?

Check your axles have no play where the bolt to the diff. You should not be able to move them with your hands.

Definitely check if your u-joints (front and back) have any play in them. You can check this with your hands.

I dont think broken motor mounts should make the car shake at idle - rotaries have a very smooth idle if it's running right.

i know for a fact its not my engine nor my engine mounts because if i did, it would still shake even at idle - it only shakes when the car is moving forward

thanks for the advice(s) i'll definitely take em under consideration

Check the Drive shaft for bad Ujoints(also check to see all the bolts are there at the Differential for the driveshaft)..put the car up on stands and check the Front for bad Tie rods and Ball joints, and check the Tightness of the front Bearing Nut..also check the Axle nut at the back. You may also want to check for a bad differntial or tranny mount...Basically what I am saying you have to start at the front and move all the way down the line to the back..It's Kind of Hard to Judge exactly what the heck is going on,but given some good info as a couple of the previous Posters have,it Should narrow it down a bit for you..Good Luck, and Post what you Find,It may help others in the Same Boat..Cheers,STYX.

I would say check out the wheel balance. During the winter in my del sol i spun out after a snowstorm and the bottom of my front bumper got stuck up on the curb. anyways after that happened and i got it off, whenever i would drive at 65-70 mph (those exact speeds like clockwork) the car would shake and vibrate. I took it to get the wheels balanced and it turned out that I think one of the weights was lost from one of the front tires. It's cheap to get them balanced and would be a good start

so i finally had the time and money to try and eliminate all possible causes and the vibration still wont stop... my friend says its the driveshaft and he's positive about it cuz he drove my car and he said he had the same problem...

does it make a medium sounding "thud" when you go faster and faster (the thud gets faster as you go faster) ?

If not, I wouldnt say it would be the driveshaft U joints...

when im driving below 20 mph (rarely) - its as smooth as smooth can get... on speeds at 20mph+ the whole car starts vibrating like crazy - the peak of this crazy vibration is at around 50-65 mph

has anybody have had experiences like that??

Maybe the front driveshaft joint bearings, I have an 86 that does the same thing. go about 35 mph, and put in the clutch, if the vibration contninues without changing at all, it's likely the drive shaft.
