Under the hood where the coolant resivour is there are some relays. the outer most relay going towards the passanger side is buzzing. car is drving fine. would buzz when the car is shut off but not when driving. when I went out to the car this am it was no longer buzzing. what is this relay for? I am hoping that its for something I don't need and can just disconnect it.

 

The buzzing is actually called relay chatter.

its 16 the dimmer relay. so why do the relays chatter?

 

download the FSM (links available in the FAQ) and run through the troubleshoot they have for that relay

 

the BAC valve buzzes with the ket on,.. sure thats not what your hearing?

 

Doesn't really buzz, more of a audible vibration. Relay chatter is considerbly different sounding than the BAC. Relay chatter is more of a... chatter (think chimpmunk), a buzz is more of a signal type alarm.

If its chatter you'll know. Relay chatter happens when the switcing wire has instable/fluctuationg or borderline voltage.
