Unclogging MOP injectors

On putting in a new engine, I noticed that 3 of my 4 MOP injectors were completely stuck (no air in either direction). I was able to free the plunger inside, and cleaned them thoroughly with mineral spirits...now they seem to work just fine (air in one direction). Has anyone else had this work for them? I'd like to think it was a cheap fix, but worry that it might just be safer to get new ones (even though it's like 120$ and I really just don't want to spend even more money). S4 NA.

I would not have used mineral spirits myself but they should be okay.

For those who have the same problem seafoam will give you the same or better results (soaking) and is arguably safer.

If you want some insurance just put in 5-6 oz of premix before filling up each tank. My OMP system works fine. I still premix becuase it is cheap insurance.
