I have found an electronics box in my '89 vert, that was located behind the driver's seat in the bin. Markings on the box are as follows; FC32 66 920 , (EAA-011B) , MATSUSHITA ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS CO., LTD. Is this an amplifier? If so, would there be any harm in removing the wires that went to it? Thanks guys.

and its your call if you want to remove the wires. the copper doesn't weigh that much, but it won't hurt anything to remove them
