Probably because the prices are higher than people are usually willing to spend. I'd imagine you have to call in and talk to someone about pricing and fabrication time. They ARE parts that are made with crush points to keep your chassis in tact after all.

I've seen similar fender braces on 240 drift sites. I think they prevent the front end from flexing, twisting, moving, etc. I'd guess that they wouldn't seem to do a lot unless they were paired with a number of the other chassis supports. But I don't know for sure.

I really like the 4 point rear strut bar and the under chassis bars front and rear.

I've never even heard of their products. Too bad you have to delete your speakers to use the 4 point rear tower brace.

If anyone gets pricing on the front 4 point lower brace or "rear cross bar, post it up.

Edit: Here is their United States' site. http://ultraracingusa.com/product/ca...Mazda-RX-7-FC/

$157 for a 4 point lower arm bar shipped or $85+ shipping for a 2 point Tanabe lower arm bar. I may actually go with the Ultra Racing 4 point.

^ Build your own. It really wouldn't be that difficult to bind the rear strut tower bar (assuming thats what you're talking about). And the front fender braces will probably work if you drill your own holes.

Takes more than that. The vert has a few more layers of metal to add more ridigity, give less clearance between the fender and the actual structure underneath.

Looking at those products, most of them appear to be completely worthless.

The front lower bar is only useful for the rear piece, and that portion is poorly placed, and the mounting is poorly designed.

The rear lower bars look like they only prevent forward/ aft shifting of the rear subframe, but don't tie in very well, and place the forward mounting bolt in single shear.

The front strut tower bar is pretty hard to screw up.

The "room" bar is entirely redundant, as it runs directly adjacent to a major transverse structure.

The rear shock tower bar is attached in a weak fashion to the shock mount. Also, anything rearward of the shock towers has little to do with the rigidity of the vehicle, as all suspension pickup points are forward of those.

The fender bars aren't terrible, and I know other chassis, such as EVOs suffer from flex in this area. I could see that region on an FC being a fairly high flex point, but have never heard anything before. The fact there is more metal there in a vert suggests that it is a weak spot in the coupe's design.

i think a roll cage would be the best way to stiffen up the chassis
