UIM,LIM,TB, flat black?

I searched for a good 20minutes and couldn't find no pictures. I'm looking for some feedback on TB,UIM,LIM being painted black. Haven't seen any pictures of how it looks. If any of you have painted them flat black, or just black, let me see pics please if you got them. I got a black'd out car, just wanna give some of that to the nice jspec engine.

Thanks, Tony

Gonna look like ***... everything in the engine bay will look dark as hell..... oh.. and flat black will absorbe heat a lot faster than cleaned or shiney aluminum

with a blacked out car.. I'd paint the irons black, the Water pump, and any other steel parts, and then either polish or bead blast all the aluminum for a real good contrast!!!!

I've seen them painted black. You'll want to use the high temp barbeque paint of course. I think the guy with the Yellow Mica FC did that. Not sure what his name is.

My manifolds on my old N/A were gloss metallic black, as well as the ones on my Turbo, before I had them ceramic coated.

I'm no Engineering Physics major but i'm gonna have to say NO on this one. IF it was left out in the sun you could feel the effects, but it's not the same since the heat is coming from within. TBC are effective, but there is no gain in having it ceramic coated white, black, Iron Grey, or polished silver.

This engine from rotary aviation doesn't have black manifolds, but there is a lot of black powdercoating and I think it looks great.

There is a thermal rejecting coating that is black.

Question about polishing manifolds:

Does polishing the manifolds increase engine bay temps since there is less surface area for the absorbtion of heat? Not sure if I worded it correctly but I remember reading something regarding this.
