UIM to LIM bolt

I sheared the long bolt that connects the UIM to the LIM. Yes i was using a torq wrench. The bolt sheared in the middle. A few questions on replacing it:
1. If i want to get a mazda part where the hell can i get it, i called a local parts department and they cant get it and mazdatrix does not have it.
2. Can i just go buy a stainless bolt and use that?
3. In general what are guidelines for replacing bolts? Can i use stainless bolts for everything? If i switch grades/material for bolts does the torque specs change?

What year is it? I can get you the part # for the bolt.

I use stainless (10.9 grade) bolts for everything. On the Cosmo engines that bolt is 8mmx1.25 thread pitch, you can measure the length and get it from a hardware store.

EDIT: Part #'s:

S4 Turbo: 9979-60-885
S5 Turbo: 9980-00-8115
