two questions

1: My 87 13b non turbo auto (sry still a bit new to terms) is bad off the start, seems a bit sluggish and if I give it a good amount of pedal revs a good amount but no umph but once it hits about 35-40 it takes off

2: I was looking to put turbo in my NA, everything I have read suggest changing the motor to the Turbo ready but thats usualy saying the car has 120k+ miles on it. Mine has approx 75k. Now the question is, would it be detrimental with that amount of milage or would it be significantly better to swap entireally. (This won't be using a large amount of boost, it's more for daily driving but I like to push it every once in a while)

Thanks in advance

well from what ive learned from all the reading...the auto 7's seem to be a little sluggish and dont have the same power as the manuals...or it could be your trans is going and you have holes or something like that.
about the turbo.....they say to just do a swap because the n/a rotors arent has strong as the turbo's rotors...like the seals and what not...i do beleive there is even a size difference...however...if your going to run low boost i dont think it will be harmful....and honestly i was wondering the same thing because i wanted to do a bolt-on for my n/a and i wanted to know the same thing...

1. check your ATF if they're still good.

2. it's cheaper to do it that way. swapping the engines to a TII engine will save you some money, as opposed to turbo-ing an NA, unless you like spending money :P

If you swap a tii motor in, you will need the whole tii driveline. Motor, trans, driveshaft, half shafts, diff (don't remember if there is anything else).
