twin turbo on a 86 na
Has anyone ever put the stock FD twin turbos on a 86 na motor? I heard that the manifold off the fd will bolt on and after i put a haltech standalone i think it will be pretty sick but will it worK?

Prepared to be flamed. You will have lots of problems, first off your engine isnt the best starting platform for turbo, and secondly if you were going to turbo it you would be better off with a single. Try searching and see what you come up with, but overall it wont be worth it, and like RETed said, You can't afford it.

wouldn't it be too really risky to do that to an NA block? for safety and reliability purposes, wouldn't a 13bt block be a better choice to try it.

there have been people that have twin turbo setups but it is not the unit found on the FD. That system is overly complicated and there is no reason why you would want it if you were going to do twins. Single is not necessarily better.
There was a thread on twin turbo FC's awhile ago. General concensus was twins are pretty much uncharted territory but it has been done. Good luck and keep us updated.
