Twin scroll flap/accuator arm

long story short, i bought a jdm s4 engine took it apart, excellent condition. some exterior parts were not so good.

anyway the problem is the rod that is on the tinscroll flap is broken sheird right off. is there any to fix this?

i was thinking to drill it and tap it so i can stick a bolt onto it with the actuator arm to make it work.

i kinda donw want to have to buy another exh-manifold and i though about cutting out the flap, but i would lose a lot of low end torque. so any thoughts?

Can you push it out far enough to weld it? An experienced welder may be able to pull it off.
