Isn't there another thread like this running around?

Think Mark said something about the flasher unit in the CPU...

Flasher board in the CPU is bad or failing if both the hazards and the turn signals are not working correctly.

I have rebuilt ones available on my website, if you want to replace it or you can try re-soldering the board yourself, but generally the relays need replacing as well.

The flasher board is one of the three (two on S5 models)circuit boards found in the CPU. It is the one at the bottom of the CPU with 6+ wires.

You can try removing and resoldering the solder joints on it. The relays are soldered onto that board. They are not replaceable with something that you would find at any auto parts store.

Or the simplest thing is just to buy a replacement flasher board, either rebuilt from me, or new from Mazda or Mazdatrix.

The flasher board in the CPU controls both the turn signals and the Hazard lights (as they both flash the turn signals).

If I move the relays by hand I get the signals to work but I cannot get nor the signals or the hazzards to work from thei respective switches... Got three flasher boards and all do the same... Could it be that I messed up on some of the wires? When I purchased my car it had no turn signal/hazzard plug for the cpu it had the bare wires I guess previous owner needed the plug... I was just playing with that today, I've been using my car for the past two years without signals or hazzards... So I decided to fix it but I can't figure it out...

Ground the Hazard wire and see if they work... if they do you have a bad switch or wiring, if they don't you have a bad CPU flasher board...

And of the CPUs I get from people parting the cars out only about 10% have working flasher boards

I might need a diagram... I lost a lot of info because of a HD crash... All I can tell you is that I applied 12V from Blue/black to Green/Red and worked... Also worked with the other side... Could it be both of my switches are damaged??? Is there a way To wire them straight to the cpu without loosing the high beam which works fine???

Fixed it... Pulled the switch out and took apart, there was a split/rusted trace. I repaired the trace and everything is fine now at least for the signals... There is a blown bulb so I'll replace it to see if hazzards work, if they do not work I don't care, I have never used them anyways... LOL...
