Turn signal wires.
Turn signal wires.
i had s4 turn signals on an s4 bumper from the last owner. he cut one of the s5 turn signals and connected it with the s4 signal. but now i was able to find an s5 bumper and i have one s5 signal that's fine. but the other one was cut by the last owner, so i cut the wire from thr s4 signal and tied it with the s5 signal and covered it with electrical tape ( the grey tape ). the signal seems to work fine, but is this actually ok to do?
i hate ghetto rigging. I hate people that cut wires... you should just find the signal with a plug... it plugs right in. Do it right... sorry, had to vent. i'm done. ^_^ what you did is just fine.
yah i hate it too, i'm still trying to find another s5 turn signal. this is just a temporary fix because i had already switched bumper and had to find some way to make it work.
btw, it does plug in, the wire from the plug was cut and i tied it to the wire from the signal. hope that kinda explains it.
