Turn Signal Terrors!
Alrighty,
I bought my 1991 N/A a while back. I swapped engines, slapped a carb in the ****, and now I am just working out the little odd and ends. I am having a little electrical problem. Now, I have seen an EXTREMELY similar problem as mine on the forums, but no conclusion came of it.
My turn signals are pretty effed. When I flip the switch to turn on the left or right signals, I hear clicking, but no lights on the dash, nor the turn signals themselves. Also, my hazards do not click or turn on.
The guy I bought the car from is a local to this island (I am currently on military orders in Guam) and he screwed up the electrical in the car pretty bad. So the CPU of the car, has some taped up wiring. Heck, even one of the wires supposed to be in the ECU isnt! But the tricky part to that one is, when I plug it in, the clicking doesn't even work.
I attached some pictures to show you how the current wiring is set up, and all the little faults. (I am currently in the Navy, serving as an electrician, so you can get a little technical with me xD)
Also, the HUGE *** Guam spider I found in my car xD
Sorry about the quality

I had almost the exact problem, except it was only my left turn signal that did not work. I took apart the CPU to get to the flasher board, and then I noticed there was a bad solder under the left relay. So basically...just resolder whatever looks loose or like it needs resoldering, and see how it works.
