??for TurboII owners??

for those of you who have front mount intercoolers and the stock TII hood is water an issue for insince in a hard down pour.
i.e very cold water+hot engine=no go? True or False

i'm interested because i am going to put a TII hood on my N/A. don't want to break car!!

If i were an ***, i would tell you to search, there have been a few posts about this.

From my understanding it is not a problem for TII owners, The scoop is desighned a special way to prevent this exact problem, i forget the details. (damn stoner memory!)

You still may want to search for my info and details as to how it works

i dont have a front mount, but i know that water wont come in through my scoop.

wow... thats crazy.. does somebody who isn't stoned remember why?

Isn't the scoop actually designed to pull air out, rather than suck it in?

There isn't enough airfflow through the scoop to pull enough water in there to cause problems. Don't worry about it.
