Question TurboII hood.....

You know just the other day, I notince something very odd bout the T2 hood. I don't lnow if my eyes are deceiving me, but is the hood scoop not perfectly centered on the hood ? I saw this picture online of the T2 hood standing up, and the scoop did not look center. Is it because the intercooler is not centered? Tha'ts why they did not center the scoop ?

So it is off-centered ,I never noticed untill now. Why did Mazda not design it to be center? better for the symetrical view of the car.

What k-rok is saying, is that Mazda designed the RX7 to be FUNCTIONAL, not pretty. They just lucked out that the end result was really, really sexy.

I'm normally one for being symetrical, but the hood looks great on the t2.

yeah they basicly put it to one side cause the intercooler is to one side,
which the intercooler is to one side to clear the intake runners.... and intake runners are setup like such because of where hte intake ports are....... lol.....
