Turbocharged NA runs AND boosts! Yay!

First off, thanks for everyone who tried to help me with my "Big problem, please help" thread. It turned out that the cause of all my problems was a huge exhaust leak at the manifold. In my rush to get my car running so I could take it to a track day, I completely forgot to tighten one of the manifold bolts (the one hidden under the turbo, damn near impossible to get to). So, I got it tightened as much as I could since its so hard to get to. It still leaks, but not as bad. And I finally got the car into some boost. Now I gotta wait for it to cool down so I can remove the turbo so I can remove the oil drain line which is what blocks the bolt. Bolt the turbo back up, then somehow manage to put the oil drain line on the turbo while its mounted...... Sounds like a complete bitch huh? Oh well... It'll be worth it.

You should be able to do it in your driveway in 2 hours. Tops.

Good to hear you got something out of it.

I still dont get how that exhaust leak relates to the part that your car wouldnt rev over a certain rpm, IIRC wasnt it cutting out or something?

The problem with it not revving was because of HKS being a bunch of dumbshits by writing their installation instructions for the AFR tap into the wrong wire (pressure sensor instead of AFM). After I fixed that and tuned the fuel a tad it revs better now.. Still a bit rough but I havent spent any time tuning it yet. My goal was just to figure out the problem to get it running. Then I'll go over the car with a fine toothed comb and work out all the kinks.
