Ive always been strictly N/A, but the s5 TII is lookin soooooo sweet right now. I was daydreamin in church and at communion where you say 'amen', i said 'rx-7'. it was so embarrasing!

The easiest way to do it is to cut the exhaust to the acceptable length, bolt up the turbo onto the manifold use lots of duct tape, and secure that turbo onto the exhaust. The turbo inlet duct should be as close to the ground as possible. A filter is not neccesary. Pebbles make the turbo go faster, and clean the carbon out at the same time. Hook the intake duct to your throttle body, forget about the AFM, who needs it anyway. Some people will say "you're stupid. You don't have an intercooler" but just remind them that since your TID is so close to the ground, it picks up cool air anyway.

All that aside, use the search function. Believe me, the subject IS there because this topic has been beaten to death. If you want pics, look at Aaron Cake's turbo conversion WHICH ARE THE FIRST THREE OR FOUR TOPICS OF THIS FORUM.

You forgot about the detonation resistance advantages of gravel injection!
And duh- you can't use duct tape on the exhaust.. it'll melt silly!!! Use bungee cords and paper clips. Save the duct tape for attaching the oil lines to the turbo.

bambam, didnt i already say that since the turbo is THAT low to the ground, it will be sufficiently cooled anyway? THINK, MAN, THINK! And take off the crank angle sensor too. the turbo spools up faster.

For more even more hp drain all the oil from the engine, and the coolent, by doing this, there is less resisteance in the engine as a hole,(water pump) and its less weight
