I have an '88 GXL and I want to turbocharge her. Does anyone know of a turbocharger kit or something that I could use on my car?

 

There is a minor non-intercooled turbo upgrade that maxes at 8PSI. Don't have the web link, does anyone else?

Have you already invested in a performance exhaust, intake, fresh air box, fresh air headlight scoop, and similar 1st stage upgrades?

Those would probably give you a pretty good bump and would be a great place to start on your way to supercharging or turbocharging.

 

I already have a preform. exhaust, air filter and custom intakes but thats pretty much it so far.
If you could remember anything aboot that turbocharger or if anyone else knows anything aboot it, that would be great.

 

I knew of one, had it on my favorites but it is gone now. Was www.marvelspeed.homestead.com/kevin.html. He had a whole kit for us NA guys but I am not sure what happened, looksi like he didn't upgrade his site or something. Think you just need to find someone to custom make you a turbo manifold to bolt on an NA. There are people that have done it I believe but not sure who. You might be able to just put an entire T2 engine in with the ECU & preferrably the transmission. I know of a few people that have done that on the forum.
