Turboback Questions

I ordered a FCD, Corksport 3" catback, Racing beat 3" DP, and I'm going to make a 3" midpipe for my car. I also ordered a K2RD ACV Block off plate and dual belt alternator pulley. SHould I be fine with these mods, or will I need an upgraded fuel pump or larger injectors? With these mods and also removing my A/C, Smog, and P/S, how much HP do you guys think I'll make? I also plan on porting the wastegate on my factory turbo to try to avoid boost creep.

get a walbro asap with that setup. some say you will need 720cc secodaries.. some will say you need a safc.. or Fcon. Then you have the people screaming that you HAVE TO HAVE A EMS just to drive it. so if money is not a problem then get a $1200 ems and get it installed and tuned for more $$$ and you will be good.

if im not mistakes you will make all kinds of boos with that setup and you need some way to add that extra fuel in. without a controller and the needed fuel pressure you will run hella lean and kill it.

as for me i went with the HKS FCON with FCD, walbro 255 (ebay for 89.99new), 3" turbo back, and cone filter(kept stock TID to keep boost down just enouf to keep the stock IC for now. Im looking into water injection for that added security.

You can use just the walbro as long as you dont go over ten, id stay around 9. Get an safc if you want to boost to 12. Probably 220rwhp @ 10psi.

Cool, I guess I'll wait until I can order a Walbro, Haltech, and some larger injectors to put these parts on. I was planning on getting a standalone after buying a Koyo Radiator, Black Magic E-Fan, and a FMIC, but I guess I can save and get it first.

Can I just put on a DP, catback, and FCD on for the time being and leave the factory cat in place?

your first problem is the corksport catback (and any catback) has a 2.5" flange. so either you need to make a 3" to 2.5" midepipe. or cut some of the catback off to were it is 3" and put on a new flange. then make the mid pipe longer.

other mods are 100% dependant on the boost. if you port enough. and can keep the boost under 8psi then you don't need anything. if you hit 10. get a fuel pump.
