i just bought a nice 2nd gen from a guy next to miami.real nice guy.anyways i was out last night race 03 cobra held with him pretty good.well a hour later went to race a mazda.i was driving down the road and a thick white smoke started coming out i look at the turbo and were the turbo meets the exhaust not mainfold by out the back there is oil i think i messed up the gasket.i have good oil pressure and everything is normal i was running 16 psi.do you guys know how much that will cost for a new gasket?thanks

oh and I doubt its a turbo gasket. When I blew my turbo it was a thick BLUE smoke and smelled like oil. sounds like you have a coolant leak which my first motor had a broken center steel

 

yea,the guy that i bought it from said thats what it sounds like a coolant leak how much will that cost?thanks

 

if i'm not mistaken, you are looking at an eventual engine rebuild...not cheap.

 

1200 and up....or you can do it yourself for around 600? assuming that you don't have tools and stuff.

 

well motor was just built 2,500 miles ago with u port.but i just took the intake off the turbo and the turbo is blown lots of shaft play and turbines all messed up so i guess i have to go buy a new turbo any good one.my motor will handle a bigger turbo i just need to buy some 750cc inj..thanks
