turbo2 swap

ok so my firend has a turbo 2 with a cut wire harness from the engine he got, now i think he fucked up his harness by trying to splice it all in, i did a minor search just looking for quick answers.

you need the t2 ecu ?
does the wiring plug right in or is there splicing that needs to be done ?
general need to know info for the swap would be good thanks

You need the t2 ECU, but I think the ECU from a convertible will work too. Check the FAQ, check http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/. There's alot of general information on T2 swaps. Depending on what car and engine you have(S4 vs S5), you may be able to use the car's original harness, if it isn't already to messed up. Else buy a wiring harness from ebay or off of http://www.teamfc3s.org/forum/forumd...php?forumid=12 .
