Angry Turbo xs rfl bov Quiet?

Well I got my car running rock solid thanx to everyones help on here, but the only other thing thats bothering me is that my bov is quiet. You can not hear it at ALL!! Im guessing its working properly because i cant hear any compressor surge and it opens and closes completly when you rev it in neutral. Thing is i heard these thing were loud as crap and mine aint. Could it be the valve is too big for my setup? Im running a solid 10 psi through all gears with the stock turbo...

Any help on this is appreciated!!!

It should be louder, check the vacuum line and/or adjust the spring.

I already did all that, so i dont kno wat the problem is, maybe because its not directly off the pipe between the intercooler and turbo?

Dude that BOV is LOUD. there is definitely something wrong. Do you still have a top mount? If you do how did you install it becasue last time i checked the dont make the fitting that goes onto our stock piping you have to make your own or weld it on.

That should work... Have you opened up the valve, cleaned it, and oiled it?

On my turbo engine I got rid of of all that shizzle and just had a pipe and BOV welded between the turbo and top mount. I had a HRFL and I heard the RFL's before and there just as loud so why dont you just get a pipe for from the intercooler to the turbo and weld the BOV in between it? They are seriously loud as **** if you love the sound of a turbo setup then you'll love it!

Well, I don't have a turbo, but could it be partially open already, and then when opening the preasure isn't really there?

I have no idea.

Good luck. I love the BOV sound.

they go against the valve to put more strength against it, like if your boosting and your bov opens up under boost you put washers to help keep it closed
