turbo xs blow off valves

how can i make mine louder ,if put more of the packing washers will it increase spring tension in turn making it louder?

Loudness and noise is directly related to how big the exit orifice is.&nbsp It has really nothing to do with spring tension.

You want more noise?&nbsp Drill out the holes.

Either that or run most boost!

Actually, wouldn't it be louder if it had less holes? It'd just be trying to dump the same amount of air through half the opening = louder. If you drill it, there should be more of an airey "hiss." I've heard that the Tial BOV is one of the most effective in terms of volume of air dumped but is almost quiet (well, can't be heard over any motor that's beefy enough for it to be needed on) I say fill half the holes with JB weld.
