Question turbo wanted

I have a 1990 convertible non turbo im looking to find a bolt on turbo kit anyone have any idea where i could find one...

there is no "bolt on turbo kit", you have to build one yourself or contract someone to do it.


doing a search would have netted you a few people who are planning on making a "kit" for them so try using it.

No such thing. There are no turbo kits for the non-turbo RX-7s. If you want to do it, there is a "partial" kit available from http://www.1300cc.com, but it only comes with intake manifolds (what you don't really need ) and does not come with a turbo and exhaust manifold (what you do need).

Check the FAQ as well as this has been covered many, many times.

Yep, the closest thing we have to a "bolt-on turbo kit" is swapping in the engine from a turbo, and thats far from a bolt on job. Search around theres tons of threads on it if your interested.

I don't know...doing the TII swap is basically a bolt on. Just a fairly involved one...Easier then doing an NA turbo setup anyway...

i agree, costs about the same if not less in the long run and is about a 1 day job rather than several weeks to a month or more.
