Turbo w/o cats question

I know these are frequent questions but I wasn't able to find the answer in search. My question is will I need to worry about over boosting w/ a down pipe and cat eliminator but stock y pipe and mufflers? Im guessing I will be ok. I should probably still get an FCD right?

you'll probably have some overboost. Not crazy spiking like if you just went with a full 3" turboback, but it will increase. Get the FCD and be careful.

Thanks. Im still somewhat considering porting my waste gate. Although I personally don't have the skills for the welding portion. Ill see if its a task my dads willing to take on. Port waste gate add fcd and a manual boost control good idea right? Boost control I know isnt necessary but could come in handy in the future.
